Ribbed nylon straps are meticulously crafted from high-strength ballistic nylon, woven in a ribbed pattern to provide both durability and an appealing aesthetic. The 1.4mm thick ballistic nylon, along with the heat-sealed holes and 316L steel hardware, renders this Bark & Jack's most robust Nylon Watch Strap to date.

WHAT'S A NATO STRAP?

The "NATO Strap" originated from the British Ministry of Defence (MOD) in 1973. It was developed to meet the need for a water-resistant watch strap, as leather straps were prevalent at the time and unsuitable for military use with chronograph watches featuring fixed strap bars.

The MOD introduced a 20mm wide nylon strap, featuring an additional flap underneath to securely fasten the watch in place.

One of the notable advantages of NATO straps is their ease of interchangeability and affordability, allowing you to switch them out as frequently as your underwear – for students, that could mean daily changes!
