For those seeking a timepiece with added functionality, Baltic has expanded its Aquascaphe collection by introducing a series of tool watches known as the GMT line. Aimed at today’s global trotters, the GMT timepieces can track the time in your current location, but can also show you what time it is back at home.
Baltic Aquascaphe GMT models feature a dedicated GMT hand that is independently adjustable. This allows users to set the GMT arrowhead shaped hand to the time in another time zone while the other hands remain to your local time. Thanks to the rotating bezel with a 24-hour scale, it’s possible to track a third time zone, making it even more versatile for travellers. Baltic has also added a date complication to GMT models at 6 o’clock.
Baltic’s GMT collection evokes the timeless charm of vintage GMT watches from the 1960s. Featuring a compact 39mm case, the watches are visually captivating thanks to their sophisticated two-tone color schemes. As a notable detail, the bidirectional bezel features its own sapphire glass protecting the colored 24-hour scale underneath.
