Introducing the Isotope HydriumX BSMH Blue

Isotope's HydriumX is finally showing what it is made of, as, for the very first time, this charismatic divers watch combined a 40mm, bead-blasted case with a bezel of the same material and finish.

Steel played - and still plays - a pivotal role in constructing the railroads that connected our great nation. It was also instrumental in building luxurious ocean liners and planes that ensured the country's safety during the 'Battle of Britain.'

Additionally, steel contributed to the victory of its powerful race cars on tracks worldwide. Steel is also the main ingredient of some of the fundamental watchmaker's tools.

Now it is steel that takes Isotope's HydriumX to the next level, featuring a bezel made entirely from this historically important metal alloy for the very first time. This bezel underscores the watch's noble yet robust nature, honouring tradition in a bold, new way. The 15, 30, and 45-minute markings are milled so that they stand above the bezel, while the five-minute markers in between consist of indented squares. The softly serrated edge not only provides plenty of grip that makes it easy to turn the bezel, but it also outlines this unique feature of the HydriumX.

No detail has been overlooked in true Isotope spirit. The brand's hallmark Lacrima, marking the 12 o'clock spot on the bezel, is surrounded by Super-LumiNova. The same treatment has been given to its signature hands, whose inner colour now matches the hue of the stainless steel.

The blue heart of this special edition of the HydriumX is two-way. First, its nature is represented by the beautiful blue hue that has a satin glow to it, thanks to the sunburst pattern on the dial. While this serves as the spiritual heart of this Isotope, the real one is found just below it, where the reliable Swiss-made Landeron automatic movement ticks.

It comes with a refined Italian black leather strap featuring blue stitching, a signed micro-blasted steel buckle, and an additional quick-release blue FKM strap. Like all HydriumX models, the BSMH Blue water resistance is up to 300m. It comes with a double-domed sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating at the front and a flat sapphire crystal insert in the screw-down case back to admire the movement.

The HydriumX BSMH Blue is now in stock and available for worldwide shipping.
