Pushing its material experimentation even further, Formex equips the Essence Leggera with a robust ceramic bezel and sapphire crystal to maximise scratch resistance. The four bolts encircling the bezel make a strong design statement, while hinting at the ingenious feature hidden beneath. The Leggera features a suspended inner case housed within the outer structure that significantly enhances comfort on the wrist. Known as the Case Suspension System, this clever construction not only improves wearability but also safeguards the movement inside.
While stainless steel remains the industry’s standard, Formex breaks from convention with the Essence Leggera. Offered in 41mm or a more commanding 43mm size, the case of the Leggera is crafted from ultra-light carbon, keeping its weight to an astonishing 40g. Paired with a slim 11mm profile, the watch delivers an exceptionally refined and comfortable wearing experience.

The Leggera dial is offered in a range of multi-finished options, each bringing its own character to the design. A particular highlight is the forged carbon fibre variant, which extends the dark, stealthy aesthetic of the case and bracelet for a seamless, shadowy look. Mirror-polished hands and hand-applied indices coated with Super-LumiNova BGW9 ensure exceptional legibility, while a bevelled date window at 6 o’clock enxtends practicality.

Driving the Leggera is the Swiss-made Sellita SW200-1, a COSC-certified automatic movement delivering impressive accuracy and a 41-hour reserve. The watch is paired with a sleek black NATO strap developed alongside WatchGeeko, featuring an all-carbon clasp and a precise 7mm incremental adjustment system for a tailored fit.
