Engineered to adapt

Staying true to its innovation-driven approach, Formex equips the Reef collection with a Zirconium oxide ceramic bezel. It’s a crisp 120-click unidirectional unit that features precisely engraved 60-minute markings created using a femto-laser technique. A classic lume pip encased in a triangle at 12 o’clock anchors the bezel. What truly sets the Reef apart is the clever bezel mounting system, enabling quick, tool-free swaps to a stainless bezel or other ceramic options.

Formex once again demonstrates its attention to detail with the Reef collection, available in both “baby” size 39.5mm and a more commanding 42mm format. Featuring a slender 11mm or 11.4mm (depending on model), the stainless steel case combines brushed and polished surfaces, while the lugs have mirror-polished bevels. A double-gasket crown at 3 o’clock ensures a formidable 300m water resistance rating.

Designed for clarity in every environment, the Reef offers a sunray-finished dial (on select models) with large hand-applied indices arranged in a chapter-ring style. Filled with Super-LumiNova BGW9, just like the vertically brushed hands, the watch stays legible whether you’re underwater or out after dark. An angled date window at 6 o’clock delivers quick-glance convenience on the move.

Chronometer power, effortless versatility

Driving the Reef is the COSC-certified Sellita SW-300, a 25-jewel automatic movement featuring a customised skeletonised rotor that delivers a reliable 42-hour power reserve. The watch arrives on a solid stainless steel bracelet featuring Formex’s patented fine-adjustment clasp, while a built-in quick-release system lets you change the look of the watch in seconds with a new strap, without any tools needed.
