The true star of the Studio UnderD0g 02Series is undoubtedly the dial. While the layout maintains a simple yet elegant aesthetic, it’s the construction and luminescence that truly set this collection apart. Each dial utilises a unique sandwich construction, featuring a coloured base layer topped with sapphire crystal. Studio UnderD0g takes things a step further with a distinctive application of luminescence in three of the four models. These models boast dials entirely coated with seven layers of Super-LumiNova, employing a reverse application technique. Instead of the numerals themselves glowing, the process creates luminous silhouettes for the hour markers, resulting in a striking visual effect. The fourth model in the collection offers a traditional approach, featuring a non-luminous dial with conventionally glowing numerals.

Studio UnderD0g draws upon the spirit and functionality of classic field watches, creating a timepiece that is surprisingly rugged and practical. Featuring a comfortable 37mm stainless steel case with a 12mm thickness, the 02Series is perfect for all-day wear. A domed sapphire crystal provides exceptional clarity and scratch resistance, while the brushed finish on the case exudes a timeless utilitarian style. The pull out crown has the brand’s logo on it, adding a touch of visual interest. Completing the packages are comfortable 18mm handmade leather straps in various color options with classic pin-buckle closures for a secure and stylish fit.

This robust movement operates at a consistent 28,800 vph and delivers a reliable 42-hour power reserve when fully wound. Studio UnderD0g prioritises practicality in the 02Series, ensuring the watch is perfect for everyday wear. The two-piece case construction guarantees durability while solid screwed-down caseback (adorned with a playful jellyfish engraving) offer additional protection.
