The Cali Noir brings back one of our most sought-after finishes: the distressed vintage PVD case from the original Arne field watch, which sold out in just three minutes. Paired with a ceramic dial so deep black it feels almost bottomless, makes this a combination that's hard to ignore.
The California dial, or "Cali dial", is instantly recognisable for its distinctive mix of Roman numerals on the upper half of the dial and Arabic numerals on the lower half. The design first appeared on military watches of the 1930s and 1940s, where its unusual layout was intended to maximise legibility and help reduce reading errors in demanding conditions.
With this particular Cali Arne, we've taken the watch back to those military roots. The choice of straps lets you lean into its stealthy character: understated black leather, rugged olive webbing or, if you want to soften the look without losing the adventure-ready feel, premium off-white Alcantara.

Local orders over £50 immediately qualify for FREE shipping. Items will be dispatched within 3 business days of purchase unless specifically advised otherwise within the product description.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES
Your item can be returned within 30 days after purchase for any reason for a full refund. Return requests can be initiated through the self-serve form at the bottom of our Refunds and Exchanges page. Once your request is received, our team will contact you to arrange the return of your watch. Returned items must be unused and in their original packaging. We reserve the right to refuse a return if the product(s) show signs of wear.
WARRANTY
Every Elliot Brown Watches watch comes with an international manufacturer’s warranty of two years.
Elliot Brown Watches's warranty covers all manufacturing defects occurring during normal use, as described in their warranty conditions. Elliot Brown Watches will replace free of charge any defective components due to a manufacturing error found by their workshop.
Please note Elliot Brown Watches's warranty is not applicable in the following cases:
- Theft, loss.
- Wear and tear and normal ageing of the watch (scratched glass, impact on the case...)
- All types of damage to the entire watch (or part of it) resulting from improper handling or use, lack of maintenance, negligence, accident (drop, scratch, crush, broken glass, etc.), improper use of the watch or failure to follow the instructions provided.
- All types of damage indirectly related or consequential to normal wear and tear of the watch, such as non-functioning, defects or inaccuracies of the watch.
This warranty is void if the watch has been damaged by accident, negligence of persons other than authorised Elliot Brown Watches sales or services agents, unauthorised service, or other factors not due to defects in materials or workmanship.
The warranty is void if the serial numbers or product date codes or other tracking marks have been removed, altered or obliterated.
