This is the automatic mechanical version of the Beam me up! watch.
This watch features a beautiful Swiss movement that is visible through the glass case back.
The 40mm case is also slightly larger than the original quartz (37mm) design.
This playful watch was designed by French Author-Illustrator, Xavier Broche.
Beam me up! is a celebration of the unexplained: a visitor from outer space hovers above a farm, searching for life on our green planet...
A mischievous piglet in the field runs in an endless loop, trying to escape the beam from the UFO.
How to read the time
The time telling on the Beam me up! watch is integrated within the image:
- The beam emitted by the flying saucer marks the minutes.
- The position of the pig on the watch face marks the hours.
Xavier explains his inspiration behind the design:
“I wanted to describe an alien encounter in a playful way. I imagined how it would be for a simple pig to be at the heart of this historic event.
I found it funny to imagine the alien travelling endlessly across space searching for intelligent life, only to encounter a bewildered pig at the end of this epic journey!
Don’t worry about the pig though - he’ll outwit the alien in the end!”

RETURNS & EXCHANGES
Your item can be returned within 14 days after purchase for any reason for a full refund. Return requests can be initiated through the self-serve form at the bottom of our Refunds and Exchanges page. Once your request is received, our team will contact you to arrange the return of your watch. Returned items must be unused and in their original packaging. We reserve the right to refuse a return if the product(s) show signs of wear.
WARRANTY
Every Mr Jones watch comes with an international manufacturer’s warranty of two years.
Mr Jones's warranty covers all manufacturing defects occurring during normal use, as described in their warranty conditions. Mr Jones will replace free of charge any defective components due to a manufacturing error found by their workshop.
Please note Mr Jones's warranty is not applicable in the following cases:
- Theft, loss.
- Wear and tear and normal ageing of the watch (scratched glass, impact on the case...)
- All types of damage to the entire watch (or part of it) resulting from improper handling or use, lack of maintenance, negligence, accident (drop, scratch, crush, broken glass, etc.), improper use of the watch or failure to follow the instructions provided.
- All types of damage indirectly related or consequential to normal wear and tear of the watch, such as non-functioning, defects or inaccuracies of the watch.
This warranty is void if the watch has been damaged by accident, negligence of persons other than authorised Mr Jones sales or services agents, unauthorised service, or other factors not due to defects in materials or workmanship.
The warranty is void if the serial numbers or product date codes or other tracking marks have been removed, altered or obliterated.
