TAG Heuer

A precision pioneer

Since its founding as Heuer in St-Imier, Switzerland, in 1860, TAG Heuer has shaped the world of timekeeping. From early pocket watches for the first wrist chronograph in 1914β€”derived from its pocket counterpartβ€”innovation has been as its core. By 1916, TAG Heuer cemented its place in horological history with the Mikrographβ€”the world’s first stopwatch to measure 1/100 of a second, redefining accuracy in sports timing.

Forged in the fast lane, TAG Heuer rose to fame through its partnership with motorsport giants and even supplying chronometers for multiple Olympic Games editions during the early 20th century. The release of the legendary Carrera and Monaco chronographs in 1958β€”embraced by racing legend Steve McQueenβ€”solidified its status. Beyond the racetrack, TAG Heuer reached new heights in aviation and became the first Swiss watch brand to go to space.
