Specifically engineered for riders of the TUDOR Pro Cycling Team, the Pelagos FXD Chrono “Cycling Edition” is a cycling-themed chronograph made with minimal weight and functionality in mind. Featuring a carbon composite case fitted with a high-performance Manufacture Calibre and cycling-specific tachymeter scale, this watch stands up to the extreme demands of the sport while being easy for the rider to operate.

For those who live to ride

The fixed-bar case structure is home to a black dial with red detailing. The colour accents highlight the inner rehaut with the cycling-specific tachymeter scale that is tuned for speeds common to cycling, as well as on the chronograph subcounters. In addition, the Pelagos FXD Cycling Edition is framed by a fixed bezel with an aluminium insert and 60-minute markings. Whilst being a special edition, this Pelagos FXD Chrono model retains the square-shaped hour markers and snowflake hands that are characteristic of TUDOR’s Pelagos collection. A date window sits at 6 o’clock.

While TUDOR’s Pelagos FXD lineup is largely dedicated to delivering military-inspired timepieces, there are a few notable exceptions, such as the Pelagos FXD Chrono. This is a purpose-built cycling watch designed for professional riders, yet its design is sure to resonate with many collectors as well. As part of its deepening commitment to professional sports, TUDOR launched the cycling-themed chronograph to show support for its own Tudor Pro Cycling Team competing at the 2024 Giro d’Italia. The timepiece comes with a 43mm case crafted from lightweight carbon composite, a 13.2mm profile, and a screw-down crown made of titanium.

Daring at its very core

Staying true to the brand’s “Born to Dare” ethos, the Pelagos FXD Chrono Cycling edition is outfitted with a movement to match. TUDOR has worked in partnership with horology giant Breitling to create the MT5813 movement. It’s an automatic 4Hz COSC-certified calibre that offers 70 hours of power reserve supporting time. A solid screw-down caseback with minimal adornments protects the heart of this cycling watch.

Built for the long haul

Completing the watch’s shadowy look is a black strap made of fabric, which is designed for comfort and robustness, making it ideal for enduring long hours on the bike. Enhancing its already capable sporting performance, TUDOR has also outfitted the Pelagos FXD Chrono Cycling Edition with a 100m water resistance rating, ensuring it is ready for whatever the ride brings.
