Tudor Black Bay 58

Tudor Black Bay 58

The Black Bay 58 is named after the first-ever TUDOR dive watch waterproof to 200m, the reference 7924, released in 1958. Known as the “Big Crown” among collectors, the design of the Black Bay 58 makes aesthetic references to this historic model. This year, a METAS Master Chronometer-certified burgundy execution joins the Black Bay 58 family. This is the first time the model is available on a 5-link stainless steel bracelet.

Tudor Black Bay 58

An iconic look, amplified

A tribute to timeless dive design, the Black Bay 58’s dial showcases oversized polished markers and a cleanly executed minute track that captures the essence of classic sub aesthetics. TUDOR’s signature snowflake hands reinforce the heritage, glowing brilliantly, like the hour makers, thanks to their Super-LumiNova coating. The vintage aesthetic continues with the unidirectional dive bezel with a fine coin edge and aluminium insert available in colours that harmonise beautifully with the dial.

The Black Bay 58 proves that true dive watch pedigree doesn’t have to come with oversized dimensions. For this collection, TUDOR has crafted a 39mm case that is both historically grounded and refreshingly contemporary. Just 11.9mm in profile, the watch can easily slip under the cuff while still feeling robust when worn. Boasting a blend of polished and satin finishes, the Black Bay 58 proves that a tool watch can be undeniably elegant.

Next-level capabilities inside

Driven by a new era of mechanical innovation, the standard Black Bay 58 models are powered by TUDOR's in-house Calibre MT5402, a self-winding COSC-certified movement. As for the Burgundy and GMT models, they rely on a calibre that meets the stringent METAS Master Chronometer standards for precision and anti-magnetic reliability. Bringing a dash of nostalgia to modern engineering, the Black Bay 58 brings back the historic Big Crown featuring the TUDOR rose motif in relief. Rated to 200m, this diver has the technical muscle to match its timeless style.

Travel in TUDOR style

Among the Black Bay 58 offerings, the GMT variant easily steals the spotlight. Its striking bicolour “Coca Cola” bezel, complete with a 24-hour scale, delivers both utility and unmistakable visual appeal. Gilt accents highlight the matte dial, as well as the bezel, giving the watch a warm, heritage-rich presence. Powered by a self-winding mechanical movement with a 65-hour power reserve, this sophisticated 39mm travel companion carries TUODR’s unmistakable confidence.
